“Let’s Burn It Fucking Down!“ Ever been to a show and thought to yourself, “This is a WILD line up?” Yep , this was the one for me. Fit For A King, Hollywood Undead, Halestorm, and I Prevail.
I Prevail
Yet another wonderful, humid, hot day in Raleigh. From VIP Lounges to Moshpits... and various water breaks. The bands proceeded to kick off this tour. In freaking RALEIGH.
Fit For A King
Fit For A King took to the stage first. Despite a sound issue in the beginning these guys really put on a great opening. These guys sure do know how to get a crowd moving!
Hollywood Undead
Following was Hollywood Undead. I mean I’ve wanted to these guys since middle school. Let’s kick it off, with NO mask! Wild. These guys made sure to remind us Hollywood Undead was far from the bottom of the leader board as the wonderful mixture of Rap & Rock snapped us back to rebellious phase of our lives.
Halestorm
As the sun went down, we got ready for Halestorm. Believe me when I say, Lzzy’s voice is something you are NOT fully prepared for! When I say I had to pause to be in the moment, I truly was blown away. There’s a reason her name flows so heavy in the rock scene. They held absolutely NOTHING back!
I Prevail
The bands came all out together for a very intense introduction for The Grand Finale: I Prevail. "There’s Fear In Letting Go" starts. As we hear the voice of Brian, who unfortunately stepped away or medical reasons. The return of one of the front men caused a standing ovation of cheering and happiness across the entire venue. He’s BACK!
I Prevail
Next was "Body Bag." This began the crowd surfing. As we scrambled around to take pictures, so did the venue's increíble security team to assure all crowd surfers we safe. The evening was just getting started.
I Prevail
"If you don’t know the Devil, then You DONT KNOW ME!," Eric kneeled before us and prepared everyone to go down a path of "Self-Destruction!" This one set the tone for the rest of the show. The high energy continued as I Prevail brought out Lzzy from Halestorm, to perform the new single, "can you see me in the dark?: The combination of the two bands made for an infamous performance. How do you top that? Well you “Burn It Fucking Down!’’ to conclude the amazing show with "Gasoline!"
