Phantogram finally returned to North Carolina after the pandemic, and everyone was ecstatic. Opening the night was Meija, a synth-drenched indie pop artist, who set the perfect tone to hype up the crowd for the night.

Phantogram turned the venue into a full-on light show, with colorful stroking lights - perfectly fitting the name of their tour, Running Through Colors. Sarah Barthel greeted the crowd, saying, "It's been so long - how was your pandemic? I'm going to shut the fuck up now because we have so many songs now, which is nuts!"

Touring for their new album Memory of a Day, which was released in October, Phantogram's setlist was a well-balanced mix of their new and older songs. They kicked off the night with "Jealousy" from the new album and played some fan favorites like "Fall in Love," "When I'm Small," and "Don't Move."

When they performed their popular hit song "Black Out Days," the crowd was fully engaged--heads bobbing, hands waving in the air with little phones in sight, just fully enjoying the moment.

Their performance and visual production truly created a euphoric vibe, almost like transcending to a new dimension. Even though it was a Monday night, they sure made it feel like a Friday night.
