HELL YEAHHHHHHH BROTHER!

Attila at Lincoln Theatre? Yeah, I had to check this show out. Attila is one of my favorite metal groups out of the Peach State, Georgia.

I’ve crossed many paths with this band, especially during the Union Square days of Manhattan, back when the scene was about fucked-up hairstyles and crab walking. Lol.

As I pulled into the venue, I wondered what would happen if I saw our old buddy “Fronz” (vocalist) aka one of the coolest, most down to earth guys, but will troll the hell out of you for anything. Boom! There he was, making an Instagram video trolling none other than my favorite whiskey brand, Jack Daniel's.

I couldn’t help but laugh. As I yelled "Fronzie!," he looked up with his grin, threw up his hand, and headed back to his bus to get ready for the show.

This was a different kind of show. Attila, lets it be known that they don’t give a fuck about what you wanna do. They just wanna play some awesome music and hang out with everyone.

There was a very tiny barricade at this show, I barely even used it. I hung out primarily where I was supposed to be... In the pit, jamming out to some of the openers which consisted of Nathan James, Dealer, DED, and the amazing Butcher Babies!

Man, the atmosphere in the room radiated mosh pit. I loved every second of watching the pit consistently move. Had a bad Monday at work, Well, take it out in the pit with some music that’ll make you move! Well my friends, then it came time for our pizza-loving friends in Attila to do what they came to do: Kick ass!

Opening up with “Perdition,” “Handshakes With Snakes,” and “America's Rejects.” But I was there for just a few more! “Middle Fingers Up!” and my absolute favorite “Three6!”

They played a lot of our favorites and interacted with the crowd so much. Tons of people were crowd surfing, jumping onto the stage with the guys while Fronz cracked jokes and told them to jump back into the crowd.

Killer freaking time. This is what metal's about: coming together to talk shit, hating Mondays, loving pizza and above all, loving some good ol Heavy Metal.
