I bet you didn’t know he was on the ELVIS soundtrack. Yeah, I thought so. Denzel Curry was roundhouse kicking it up at the Ritz last week! Man, I love this dude. His energy is literally top tier. Third time watching him, and first time getting to shoot for him. Man, we waited awhile for Denzel to come back to Raleigh. Last time I saw him he was with Flatbush Zombies & prior to that with A$AP Ferg.

Denzel had a wonderful lineup to go with this tour. First to the stage was CLIP. With her amazing attitude, she had that crowd in control. From her big smile and her amazing dance moves, she put on a performance that we all very much loved.
Second was 454. He came out with his ominous, yet colorful light and did his thing. Loved his style. Brother can really dress up nicely.
Third was Kenny Mason. Now I’ve heard this young man once or twice before. I told myself, I wanna see what he’s like live. Let me tell you, it's golden. The crowd reacted to his every move. From jumping, rapping along, this dude's got it, and if he’s ever in the area, I’m in PERIOD.

Now.

FUCKING
CURRY!!!
HE opened up with "Act A Damn Fool." Man, Denzel was waiting for that intro to come on... he came in running! Instantly the crowd was jumping and making noise and had the floors in the place SHAKING! Second was "Ricky." This is where people started to open up mosh pits, as he gave us all a big smile of appreciation. The energy was only climbing.
Third was "Hit The Floor." As people began to crowd surf and a few extra mosh pits opened up, so did Denzel. He came out covering his iconic dreadlocks and shortly after the second song, he let them out! It was time to go wild!

This was a Rap concert like no other. Playing a variety of new and old tracks, Denzel put on a freakin' show. Crazy to see how much he’s grown as a person, how much more amazing he's become on stage. He bpought out some of the other artist that performed earlier in the night that he had collaborations with. Finally, he brought out everyone for one of his last songs.
Undeniably one of the best Denzel shows I’ve been to. Already looking forward to the next one.
